Versatile 4-inch & 6-inch print engine for high-volume print & apply labelling

The latest in a legacy of excellence, SATO’s S84/86NX print engines are designed and equipped to offer the latest technology without compromising the reliability and versatility you'd expect. The 4-inch S84NX and 6-inch S86NX offer the latest emulations, a powerful and easy-to-use display and additional options to maximise productivity for 24/7 mission-critical print and apply labelling operations and everything in between.

Powered by AEP (Application Enabled Printing), users can use apps on the print engine for smart printing, such as directly connecting to peripherals like weigh scales, directly printing from a PLC, and more.​

RFID option is also available for the S84NX.

    Larger, stronger hinges and enhanced sensor assembly for heavy-duty use. The print mechanism is framed with aluminium for added ruggedness, built with greater water resistance, and is used in dusty environments.​

    Parts replacement made simple. Toolless print head replacement, easy roller replacement by simply loosening one screw, improved gearbox design and convenient access to rear components. ​

  • Downtime reduction

    It supports SATO Online Services (SOS), a cloud-based maintenance solution that notifies when expendable parts need replacement. It quickly and effectively resolves printer errors when they occur, significantly reducing downtime and keeping operations running.​

  • Onboard intelligence

    Powered by SATO AEP (Application Enabled Printing), customise printer operations to simplify labelling processes and reduce business costs. For example, show your company logo, IP address, or any other information on your printer screen, print directly from PLC, streamline RFID printing and encoding, and more!.

Experience seamless compatibility with various printing languages, thanks to the pre-installed auto-switch competitive printer language emulations. The full-colour 3.5” LCD display offers an intuitive menu and easy navigation for a user-friendly experience. Additionally, instructional videos are available on-board for comprehensive training and easy maintenance.

Furthermore, the S84NX model offers a UHF RFID option for encoding, reading and verifying tags prior to printing.
