SATO CUPS Driver for Linux & macOS X

Print labels from Linux and macOS X systems to SATO printers easily

The SATO CUPS Driver was developed to allow users to print labels from macOS X, Linux and other platforms (i.e. ARM V7 and PPC64LE) to SATO printer.

NOTES
  • The driver is only available in English
  • macOS X driver tested on Version 10.15 system only
  • Linux drivers tested on Ubuntu and Fedora Linux systems only

Product Features

  • Keeps track of printer status

    CUPS creates a queue to keep track of the current status of the printer.

  • Automatic conversion of print jobs to printable format

    Filters (which include printer drivers and port monitors) and backends are used to convert job files to a printable format and send that data to the printer itself.

  • Multiple interface communication

    Communicate with printers using LAN, USB, LPT and RS232 interface.
